My name is Éric Veiras and I have been working as a system engineer for more than 10 years in server administration, infrastructure management and evolution, architecture design and implementation, and security.
As an administrator of Linux and free software/open source, I know its communities and ways of functioning, and strongly believe in open source potential to bring agility and reactivity to my work to reach entreprise's objectives. This is reinforced by recent movements like DevOps, Infrastructure As Code and Monitoring Love which brings new possibilities and tools to system administration (even if they are more than technology movements).
I am organized, thorough and pragmatic. My strong initial training in computer science and continuous learning since give me good understanding of the different aspects and technologies involved in my job.
